Hi! Welcome to my Blog! I am so glad you stopped in to check things out and hope you leave feeling blessed and loved. A little bit about me….. I am a Christian and have been walking (sometimes faithfully, sometimes not so much) with Jesus for, lets just say a long time. I am a band director by trade and love teaching students the art of music and walking with them through life. I am married to Matt who is an author, pastor, and my fave… a beekeeper and we manage a bee farm and work with youth in small town East Texas. My kids are nearly grown and gone. Noah is in college and Emma is currently a senior in High School. I guess I’ll be updating this in about 9 months, huh?

I am not a writer but I love to write. I never pictured myself as a writer, but here we are. The first blog post kind of gives a run-down of how this all happened, but suffice to say I’m excited for the challenge and the new adventure. I’m looking forward to seeing how God uses this to bless anyone that drops in here. I believe in the power of prayer and if you ever want or need prayer, by all means, please shoot me an email or share a comment. I will be glad to lift you up to our Savior on your behalf. No one should walk the Christian journey alone. We weren’t intended to do life alone. I guess I’ll close this section of the site by sharing a scripture my grandmother (Nonnie) wrote in a devotional book she gave me as I headed off for college many years ago. Jeremiah 33:3
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know”.
